CAN XBOX BEAT THE GAMECUBE GRAPHICS?

THATS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW CAN THE XBOX BEAT THE GAMECUBE GRAPHICS??? THANK U.

I dont know if the GC can beat the Xbox's graphics since if you look at the specs the Xbox seems to be a superior machine power wise, but the Cube can come awfully close, ive been looking at Xbox and GC screenshots all day and the SSBM screenshots are breathtaking *wipes tear from eye* anyways so far I think the GC has better graphics from what ive seen.

Well, I heard XBOX is capable of producing better graphics, but I also heard it gets bottlenecked inside the system because they're isn't enough bandwidth between the components, unlike GameCube, which has tons of bandwidth. Plus, it isn't graphics that matter completely. here's a link to an interesting article from programmers of games for GameCube; they talk about graphics at 1 point.

X-Box is a PC based machine right?So it divides it's power into many parts which makes it weaker than GC while GC's power is united and there are a few changes for GC see for yourself:CPU:OLD:405MHz
NEW:485MHz

The"Flipper"Graphic chip:OLD:200MHz
NEW:162MHz:thats right they downgraded the speed of the graphic chip.

but the difference is good if you unite the speeds togheter:

OLD:405+200=605MHz
NEW:485+162=647MHz

That is the real power of GC in total,but the sites only metioned the CPU,that is the little mistake that they forgot about.I'm not trying to be a wise guy or something i just want give my opinion that's all,and i want to see if someone agrees with me here,anyone?

Even if Xbox can do better graphics they don't have all the cool franchises of Nintendo and its second parties...Xbox has good games too...I agree...but nothing compared to Metroid, Zelda and Mario....

yes GC has a total of 10 Gigaflops,gamecube has a power pc processor which is a whole more powerful than a Pentium 3:
405MHz of a power PC chip=more than 700MHz pentium chip
485MHz of a power pc chip=more than 830MHz pentium chip

its not about the specs, as much as it is about the games, and what the developers can do with the machine.
I think in the end, NINTENDO!! will come out victorious!

You'll see why XB is not the super superior pc err...um...console that Microsoft touts it as.
