                Today as Nintendo announced the 3DS system, they promised to have more 3rd party support and from some of the best developers. One of those developers was Kojima Productions bringing a 'new' MGS game to the 3DS. The game appears to be a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for the PS2. Here are the first screenshots available showing some of the 3DS graphical abilities.

                  Indeed it does look amazing. Best graphics for a handheld EVER. 3DS looks better than some Wii games.

                  that's sad... their handheld blows their console away graphically. where's wii hd!!!?

                  well, it wouldn't if it were on a console. that 3d tech only works when you are sitting dead center to the display, so i doubt you're going to end up with a living room full of people trying to cram into one tiny space in front of the TV to see it in 3D, especially when glasses free 3D can introduce artifacts into the image and effectively halves the horizontal resolution of the screen.
