              • Activision Pays Out $42 Million to Former Infinity Ward Developers

Activision has sent a check to the lawyers of the "Infinity Ward Employee Group," who are suing Activision for not paying their bonuses after Modern Warfare 2 was released. However this is not a settlement for the case, instead it was during their discovery phase for their case against the 2 former heads of Infinity Ward, West and Zampella, that they found that none of the 38 employees were in breach-of-contract.

The group has been seeking anywhere from $75 million to $125 million of what they say they are owed and up to $500 million in punitive damages. Bruce Issaacs, attorney for the group, called it a "cynical attempt to look good before the jury trial."
