Rumors have been circulating around lately on what Nintendo has planned for their 3DS Press Conference that is slowly approaching. One of the rumors was that the Monster Hunter franchise would be seeing a release on the 3DS handheld system. Well, it seems those rumors may be true.
Apparently the latest issue of Famitsu shows a sneak peek at an upcoming Monster Hunter game that will be releasing for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is titled Monster Hunter 3G, and looks to be an updated version of the Monster Hunter Tri game that released for Wii. Reports claim that the game will retain the water elements that were seen in the Wii version, and will support local wireless play for multiplayer.
If that wasn't interesting enough, another rumor of a second 3DS slide pad may also have some truth to it. Rumors were of Nintendo possibly releasing a new 3DS design that will include a second slide pad. This new rumor is slightly different, as a second 3DS slide pad is mentioned, but will come in the form of a peripheral that will attach to the 3DS's face buttons.
We'll most likely find out everything next week when Nintendo's 3DS Press Conference happens on September 13, 12:00PM Japan time or September 12, 8:00PM PDT. A live stream of the event will be available at the Official Site close to the start time.
