The Game Cube will cost between $150-200.Witch is relatively cheap compared to PS2 and Xbox. But then you may have to buy extra controlers and save cards. Eventualy you may want to buy the Eithernet/56k hook ups and Expansion Pack(if not included at launch). But this is still much cheaper than if you bought these things on PS2 or Xbox. The Only Console that is cheaper is Dream Cast, witch is dead.
The games will cost less than PS2's and Xbox because of Development cost on Game Cube are much cheaper.(because of ease to deelop games.)Another thing that factors in is that mini Optical Discs are Cheaper than DVD discs. But cost will still be kind of high because developers need to make a profit. I would say that the best games may cost $50.(there is no way that I can posibly gues until the platform is released.)
The Game Cube reservation could cost as little as 0 if you get to the store early and the store did not have all platforms reserved. Its basidally up to the store to make the decision on how much they want to charge. Has alot to do with suply and demand. If theres low suply there will be a high Demand(like PS2 this christmas) If there is a huge suply there will be less of a demand. there fore prices would be slightly lower.
holy buttnuckels! I was expecting cheaper...oh well...I will just have to save my money...I got about 100 in cash...there will be an expansion pack for GCN?

Yes there will be an expansion pack for Game Cube.
Under the section of Auxiliary RAM (ARAM), Nintendo Technology Development notes the publicly released figure of 16MBs internal SDRAM, but also indicates that this memory is expandable up to 48MBs with an external accessory. The external addition, which is believed would be inserted into one of the GameCube's underside ports, would bump the console's total memory from 43MBs to 75MBs.
Basically this means that if Nintendo desides to release there expansian pack for Game Cube it will have way better graphics and sounds, but allso speeds up the discs load time. Kicking major ass.
There is also a posibility that the Epansion pack will be thrown in at launch. Because Nintendo would like to make Xbox look realy bad compared to the much more afordable Game Cube. The Platform may not cost $200 but it will be between $150-200. It could be anywhere in that range.
