there is no dopught that the x-box will be a far superior system with ability but lacks in game developers and nintendo are already well known for good games. but nintendo might have a problem if bill brings out the x-box beforte xmas this year in usa/jap/uk then it will gather a head start in christams sales which might be enough to establish them and bring in the customers fast!!

ummm not really far superior its not far superior in any area

CPU x-box is made of aluminum which is slow and over heats and the copper cpu is equivalent to like 800 mhz aluminum pentium 3 ship

cache gamecube has 256 k of second level cache and x-box has 128 and that 266 k of cache really speeds up the ram

oh god there is so many specs i'm so lazy to go over them all

Micrososft will need to attract people who all ready like a console, and they won't be able to do with with most nintendo fans, but as for the game devolpers, they have about the same, but after the chrisis about the X-Box name, we might see a late appearence of it.

X-Box will have a hard drive. No matter what Microsoft says that means that it will be able to freeze and crash just like your computer.

yeah but the gc wil have to load each menu and level like psx/dreamcast/pc but the x-box has one initial 8 second load and never has to load again for levels or menus....for that game until you've finished playing
