Does anybody know if Square has signed up for developing for Gamecube? I hope they do because they can't complain about lack of disk space anymore!

That would be cool if they started making games for the GC!!

I think Square will return to Nintendo...but after 1 or 2 years after GC launches...

Square is a company...and they want money as everyone else...they will stay with PS2 for a while because they know Sony has a large userbase...if they realize that GC is doing as well as PS2 or better they will work for Nintendo again...

That's my guess ;)

Any console that has ANY decent RPG's, that console will shoot up to NO.1 in Japan. People disagree about the possibility of Square developing for the big N because Square has a strong relationship with Sony. Hey, they said the same thing between the N64 and "PSX".

I really hated Square canceling development for Nintendo (THEY JUST HAD TO DO FMV HUH!!!!!!)

I like Enix's style much more. In their latest Dragon Quest 7 for Playstation, very few FMVs are used, and the graphics are sorta like how Mario RPG looks, but still, look at it! It is the #1 selling game! Sure, it might be different here in the US though, Enix of America just has to get the Dragon Warrior hype back up again by releasing Dragon Warrior 3 Remix for GBC, Torneko: The Last Hope for Playstation, Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 for GBC, and Dragon Warrior 7 for Playstation. That should get the hype back!

Just Enix developing for the Big N should keep the Gamecube alive for a while.

Recently, on squaresoft-europe's official website, they had a poll, and they said they needed our oppinion, and wanted to see who we wanted them to make games for most! I believe...

Xbox got 0.7%
GC got 67.6%
PSX2 got 4.4 %
and dreamcast got 16.3%

its too late to vote, but i know im wrong. Go to igncube.com to see the official stats, all i know is that GC killed the competition in votes! GO FELLOW NINTENDO FANS!

I am pretty sure they have signed a deal with Nintendo to produce a FF game for the GBA.

Square isn't doing anything with Nintendo at all directly, but they have a company set up doing GBA games. That company said they might do a game that links GCN/GBA in the "future" though.
