Help! Spindle hub on the PSX!

I can't really get enough decent help these days.. I've asked for help at three different places. Anyways, on the spindle hub inside of the PSX, there are these small pieces that are on it, two of the pieces have fallen off, and one more piece remains. If the last one manages to fall off, what will happen? Will the system quit working? Will the system run the game improperly? Or maybe it won't have any effect? I need to know.. I've been recieving mixed results from different places..

I'm not sure. I would guess that if it fell off, your psx would stop working!!

Doesn't matter if the forum is dead or not.. I still need info! Info from somebody whose spindle hub has lost all three small pieces to it! My Question once again. Will it still work? All I need is a simple yes or no answer.
