PSP looks amazing

I say this with all grief, but nintendo might have a hard time with the DS when the PSP is releaed.

1) PSP looks much better than the DS
2) It has in game graphics as powerful and even more powerful than the ps2. While the DS has graphics that are compared to the N64.

I really don't care about graphics and the way a handheld looks, but a lot of mainstreem gamers do take interest in graphics and the way a hanheld looks (psp to me looks exactly like GBA). Therefore nintendo will have a hard time controlling the handhelf market after the release of the PSP.

Wow. It's amazing how handhelds jumped from GBA graphics to almost next-gen graphics within a matter of years, almost totally skipping a generation of home consoles. I'm still undecided which one looks better, I'd have to see both in motion. But Animal Crossing and Mario Kart interest me much more than MGS.

After seeing what is coming, so far, to the DS and reading developer comments and much more, I'm more than confident the DS will hold it's own very well against the PSP.


I'm almost thinking that Nintendo should just scrap current work on the next GBA and run with the DS for a while. Another Nintendo handheld beating up the more powerful competition possibly?
