After months on top of months of whining and complaining about The Wind Waker being cel-shaded, it seems Nintendo has finally decided to listen to the consumers. A few minutes ago a trailer was shown at Nintendo's press conference showing off Zelda in all its mature glory.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

It is true. I watched it live. Simply Amazing footage. Took mine, and the E3's audience's breath away. Nintendo has stolen E3. And every Nintendo related site's bandwith. You can't even access IGN right now, the cube section is flooded!

I think I almost wet my pants when I saw those pictures and that video of the new Zelda. It looks like you'll have actual medieval battles and such like I've always wanted :D:D:D!! This will be awesome!

the video which was previewed in 2000 had much better grahical qualities, it is obvious that the game is still in early development (looks at links face) it looks as if it was squashed. Other than that everything looks amazing and hopefully everything will be fixed in time for the release.

For the most part, I'm very excited about this new mature Zelda game. I really didn't expect Nintendo to pull of something like this, and that happens every year. It seemed that with all of their responses to the first WW came out, they've been justifying themselves by saying gameplay is more important then graphics. I totally believe in this, as well as how once you begin to play it, those past notions of it being kiddy don't even cross your mind. But rarely do we see Nintendo make such a big leap to actually go in this sort of new direction in such a big way.
With this new style, many things are opened and destined to be changed in various ways. Even though it's obvious that it's at an early stage, it'll surely be creditable just like all Zelda titles.
