I still have to try out Overlord for the 360.
What's with all the love to Overlord anyways? It's getting a game on Wii and Nintendo DS also. Exclusives at that.

If the camera and controls are better for this one, count me in. Overlord was a pain to play.

You get used to the controls fairly quickly so it wasnt an issue for me.

Overlord looks like shit, the animations are last-gen and floaty, the AI is shit, your minions kill themselves all the shitting time, the controls are shit, the shitty camera is trying to kill you and there's no f*ing world map, so you get lost all the time.
And yet I love it. It is an awesome game, and anyone who hasn't got it yet should buy the PS3 version NOW(lots of extra content), or I'll personally come to each of your houses and rip your bal...
Aaaaanyway, just buy it. :)

I have the 360 version but i heard that some of your problems with the game were fixed for the PS3 version including a map of some sort and apparently the camera was also tweaked a bit.
The sequel looks even better. New kinds of minions with new abilities like mounting certain creatures and machinery and a Roman like empire to destroy MWAHAHAHA! :devious:

Yeah, there's a minimap now, but, for some inexplicable reason, no area map accessible from the pause menu. One should think it'd be simple to implement once you have a minimap, but apparently not
Codemasters are to release a sequel to their 2007 minion-wrangling game Overlord that will pit the player-controlled title character and his chaotic army against an uptight, by-the-book Empire.
The original game challenged you to be either evil or really evil. This, apparently, was just not flippin' evil enough to satisfy developers Triumph.
Game director Lennart Sas told Eurogamer, "Now the choices are between lawful evil and chaotic evil, which usually translates to either enslaving the population or all-out scorched earth."
Major changes to the game include minions with proper names and personalities as opposed to just random flunkys. This will establish "relationships between master and underling" which frankly sounds a bit pervy. And evil. Definitely evil.
