Final Fantasy IV

I can't F'ing wait for this either considering I absolutely loved FFIV back in the day. I'm going to LOVE the new graphics that comes with the system, but all I need to do now is buy a brand new Nintendo DS system because my fat ass nephew sat on and broke my old system. My friend was jacked for my Nintendo DS Phat with my FFIII inside the console also, so I still have to play through that game again too. Which really sucks. AHHH!!! I'm buying a brand new DS when I get paid with a copy of FFIII. Damn video games to hell!!!

^^Agreed, but when he turned into a good guy his physical attacks were much stronger.

I loved martyrdom of bleeding health to kamikaze multiple enemies. Plus, he looked like a badass for a pile of pixels.

I really loved FFIV on SNES and then when it was released on GBA I got it and played it. I would like to have it on DS but I have played through it so many times I don't know if i'm going to be able to. I think i'm going to have to pass for now.

I love the series, and always have, especially back during the NES and SNES days before RPGs were really the thing to play. It's just that I've already owned and played this several times through back in the day and I can't justify re-buying it again, even with the pretty makeover.

However, my all-time favorite in the whole series remains Final Fantasy VI, and if they want to give it a full makeover and try selling it to me, then we'll talk.

Final Fantasy IV is one of my all-time favorite games in the series. Cecil is one of the coolest characters next to Vivi, Cloud, and Sephiroth.

I just looked through the issue of Nintendo Power with everyone's favorite dark night on the cover (not Batman, comic junkies), and the screens are spectacular. The CG scenes are looking to be amazing as well. Edward finally doesn't look so spoony anymore, and could become badass. He appears to be the next Raiden. =-o

Gah, it sucks that we won't get it until July, but I will wait patiently. I don't care if I've played through it twice already; this is an almost brand-new experience that you can't pass up. If you haven't played it (*glares at nayrk*), do yourself a huge favor and find one for the GBA if you can. Then anticipate the new 3D-ized version.

In closing of this, anyone read up on Whyt? He seems like an interesting addition to it, but I don't see myself using him very often, if at all. :-(

I do agree that Cecil is one of my favorite characters of all time in the FF universe. My favorite characters would be:

Sephiroth
Cloud
Zidane
Cecil
Kuja (I think that's what his name was)
Squall

Man, I've already died in the game. And it took forever for me to die in the first and GBA one.

And it was against, of all things, the Octomammoth! (not to mention I almost died in the first cave because of the Slow/Blind combination that made Cecil useless :-()
