I dont understand why Sonic 3 gets such low praise, i for one loved it.

I will say this: Had the two games been released as one, the score would have jumped to the high 6's-low 7's for improved replay value. And I think the S&K levels are better designed overall (even if they are too long).

Um....Sonic Gems Collection for GC has Sonic CD in it.

Yes, and its roughly twenty to thirty dollars, and I'm not paying that much money for one great game and eight or nine shitty ones.
