i hesitated to buy the map pack because i thought 2 maps for $8 was too expensive. finally bought it today expecting to play it and it change my mind, but it seems nobody has the freakin thing. wth? i try to join a game and i get "finding a match" for about two minutes, then "no matches found! trying again", it tried again and finds a match but it's always just 5 other people. did everyone leave for Warhark or has it always been this dead? i think i need a time machine so i can take back the last two hours of my life...

I have it. Sadly I haven't been playing a lot of Res lately; been trying to catch up on the games I missed for 360 (just bought one in June). It did seem like not many people bought the thing right after it came out...I'm surprised that hasn't changed as time has gone on.

there are more than 2 maps, yes I have them.
And yeah I've waited 1 minute for 6-8 players but less people means more actions on such small maps. I once had capture the flag match with 18 people.

I downloaded 'em. They're fun.

I have it, but I think the same people who would be playing that are probably playing Warhawk instead. With the still relatively small install base of the PS3, I'm sure it's difficult to find matches for many of the games out there. Anybody still try Fight Night 3 regularly? How about College Hoops 2K7?

one reason i dislike online, especially online-only. i mean NES games you can still play, whereas warhawk will be dead entirely in a couple years. you get your moneys worth probably but there's no coming back for nostalgia.

Yes host your own server!

I got the map packs; it seems to me that Resistance has dropped in playing community numbers.

I got the map pack a while ago and I must say, they're top notch fun when the right people are using them.

Well, every time I do a search for one of the new maps, almost nothing comes up. Maybe I search at the wrong time of day?

Now when the games are bundled (MS and R:FOM) maybe more will join?

I have the maps but I rarly play. I have probably only logged about 3 hours the hole time since launch on that game, but I have played though the campain 4 and a half times now. If you guys that have the maps can play between midnight Pacific time and 3 or from 10AM to 2PM I would gladly join in just drop me a message on PSN cause I check that religiously. I am basically a noob at it online so it should be good fun.
