Ok, well, i am in a predicament. I have the money to get a DS Lite, and i have wanted one for a while. But, as it stands i dont have a ton of free time this summer because im working. I barely hooked up my Wii last week, and havent put more then 8 hours on it since.

Wtf is wrong with me? I dont even do alot of sitting around. Why do i want this little piece of hardware even though i know i probably wont use it much? Is a price-reduction imminent? Or is this the price it will ride off to the sun with?

you may end up using your DS more since it's portable. well, if you have any doubts just sleep on it i guess

personally i dont think the lite prices are gonna change ne time soon. if you really want one go get one. there are lots of good games out 4 it now too.

Don't work your life away...it's not worth it. Do, however, get a DS lite.

I agree that if you find yourself busy most of the time that having a portable video game you would probably be more likely to play it. Get a DS, it's fun and def. worth the money.

Hrmmm, ill go look and see how much i can get a decent package for. If anyone knows of any good deals, lemme know. I wonder if i can trade some old shitty games in. Hrmmm.

Ok, i wonder if any of yall have had any problems with the new DS Lite's? I dont know if i should also go ahead and get a service plan with it, and what kind of plan the thing comes with standard. Nintendo is a great company and produces quality products, but i'd rather cover my own ass if there have been problems with this unit.

don't buy a service plan. for the first full year you can get it fixed/replaced by nintendo for pretty much any reason at all.

I actually really like my old DS. I've played the lite, and it just seems like with so many hours spent playing my DS its just really hard to get used to the small size of the lite. Then again, if you dont even have an old DS, I'd say go for it, the DS is probably the most played of all my systems.

Yeh Ive got hardly any time to play my consoles any more, but I bring my DS with me to uni and play on the tram and on breaks and stuff. No one I know has regretting buying a DS, ever.

Just go get the damn thing. Just cause you won't be playing it right now, doesn't mean you won't be loging in hundreds of hours on it later.

God only knows how much of my life my DS has stolen from me... that loveable bastard.
