well basically the 3DO company that we all now noe (Army Men, 4 Horsemen etc) actually had themselves their very own console....kinda...actually they designed it and sold the production rights to companies that wanted it. Matsushita was the big one. Hence the first 3DO console was a Panasonic. but things didn't work out so they (3DO) turned 3rd Party. thats the basic jist of it. if you're wondering WHEN this console was around, it was around roughy when the PSX was released but abit earlier. so it was basically the first of the next gen consoles (PSX, Saturn etc).
