Almost the same scene where the heroes are holding a gun and firing at there enemy. Almost the same graphics. But the other one is a multiplatform game

R&C is an exclusive PS3 game and it is expected that it looks bettr than a multiplatform game. I have high expectations about R&C because it already has no MP options so it means they can concentrate more on gameplay and Graphics. It should not be on par with Unreal 2007, I expect it to look better than unreal 2007 because of longer dev time, no MP, and exclusive to Ps3 architecture.

dude, one is a cutesy cartoony style title, the other goes for a gritty stylized realism. you simply cannot compare the 2 visually.

The difference is, one of them actually looks like that when you play, the other doesn't.
That UT pic is doctored to the extreme. It's not going to have that AA or AF if anything else released by the UE3 is anything to go by. Take a real screen of UT.
And of course artstyles. Even still, R&C looks better. You took the flattest possible screen of R&C and the most doctored and unrepresentative screen of UT, honestly, what the hell is that. Yet even still, R&C looks better.
You sir, are weaksauce.

2 completely different art style, (does UT even have art o.O??) different gameplay mechanics(one 3rd person shooter/platformer with HUUUGGGEEE Environments full of life, great animations and really smooth gameplay and the other with big environments, that are well, barren to say the least, not that great animations and not that smooth), and graphic style.... seriously.... my oh my!

hey don't double post your reply. I have great expectations for R&C in terms of graphics. Gameplay pretty much given that it will be okay but I hope too see a real PS3 graphics this time. I have been waiting for so long now. Thast why I only have two games for my Ps3. Up to now I haven't seen games that surpass the graphics of xbox 360. Good thing my Ps2 has lots of games

Look, R&C is NOT going to look better than Unreal. The reason is really simple, Insomniac's games have usually very clean and colorful art styles. Unreal Tournament's style is very different, with as much detail crammed to every object as possible, so they are going to look vastly different. Also, AFAIK, R&C is 60fps so that's already a big plus over Unreal.
In any case, I'd like to see a demonstration of Unreal 2007 on next gen consoles. It'd surprise me to see it running all that well, with huge environments and a big number of players on 360. Mainly due to how it struggled to even keep 7 characters at the most on screen with pretty small environments.
So, in short, let's wait till we can play them to compare them...even if the comparison doesn't make that much sense.

I dont think it is a matter of which will look better necessarily but the whole comparison between UT and R&C. I mean the games are two completely separate genres any comparison is kind of skewed to begin with.
I would be similar to comparing Viva Pinata with Resistance or Madden to Gears. Why in the world compare these two titles???
Having said that we/I will be locking for the sole reason of nonsensical comparisons.
