GC is my favorite console of course. I have always been a nintendo fan. I received my first console when I was about 5 years old and it was the NES. Not too long after that my parents realized the NES was over 5 years old so they decided to purchase the newly released Snes. The Legend of Zelda A Link to The Past is what made me fall in love with Nintendo and the series it self. I decided to ignore the Play Station so I could get myself a Nintendo 64 at launch. The Nintendo 64 was a great console but it was seriously lacking a large library of games which the Play Station became largely known for. Despite all that my favorite all time game appeared on the Nintendo 64. You guys probably know what game it is but just in case you don't it is The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I didn't care about a large quantity of games mainly because of this game. Then two years after Ocarina of Time's release Majora's Mask came out and my love for the series became even stronger. Two great Zelda games in one generation is enough for me. The GC is not much different from the N64. I'm dissapointed with Nintendo's 1st party offerings. Super Mario Sunshine wasn't nearly as good as Super Mario 64. I'm not sure why but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed its predecessor. After seeing Link and Ganon in the Spaceworld 2000 trailer I went crazy with joy. I was really looking forward to the new zelda. Then when Miyamato announced Wind Waker and the Zelda from the Spaceworld 2000 video was dropped I wasn't dissapointed because I knew it would still be a great game even though it was cel-shaded. In the end I was dissapoited with Wind Waker but I'm still looking forward to the next installment in the series. There are many other great games for GC besides Zelda WW. The two new Resident Evil games, Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime, Skies of Arcadia Legends, MGS TS and many more I can't think of right now.
