Gears gets my vote for graphics and enemies, Resistance gets everything else.

If resistance loses in all other categories (which it certainly doesn't), it kicks gears' ass in physics simulation!

Weapons - Resistance: Insomniac are known for their sweet weapons so Resistance wins this one.
Vehicles - Resistance: Although the vehicle Physics are not to great it has more vehicles in total.
Enemies - Gears Of War: I like the Locusts, Good idea of them coming out of the ground Ect.
AI - Gears Of War: Gears has a slight edge over Resistance in the AI department Quote obvious though seeing as there is less enemies on screen Ect.
Art Direction - Gears Of War: Although both games have georgous looking environments I'd say Gears has a slight edge.
Multiplayer - Gears Of War: Although Resistance can have up to 40 players online, The games are to chaotic and there is no sense of teamwork while Gears only has 8 players, 4 on each team, Makes you work together as a team to get the job done.
Graphics - Gears of War: No Doubt Gears Of War, The best graphics I've ever seen in a video game.
Overall - Gears Of War, Although Both games have their ups and downs I think Gears is just overall the best....But Not by to much.

RFOM is my best fps of all time I can't just get enough of online multiplayer.It's the best also I think gametrailers should have waited atleast six months because 360 has a lot more consoles out.

Yep thats what all polls are for the most part. Even on those gamefaqs character battles. Plus the fact that say resistance could not have sold as much as GOW yet, so user votes are going to be unbalanced.

if you have 8 million people that have played gears and 6 million that own it, versus a half million who own Resistance, then you have a public poll, what do you think will win?

Well i wont vote for having not played through either (or not played resistance at all) Well gears is infact beautiful and plays well, i'll have to see how it compares with RFOM
