Anyone hear about this? It's in the new nintendo power. Aparently their coming out with a line of tv shows for gameboy. Much like that video now thing before. But its all in full color on the much bigger gameboy screen. For now their just releasing 5 or so full pokemon shows but they have plans for sponge bob and fairly odd parents in teh future. It says each cardritde will include two full screen episodes and latter oones may contain up to 90 minites of video. Wow If this becomes big in japan I could see lots of animie ones as well. The whole thing sounds like a gread idea, i had no idea the gameboy was cabalple of that.

Huh?! 45 minutes of video in a GBA cart? Not possible. If it's true, they must be using some other method.
Dunno if it's a good idea, though. Nickelodeon cartoons aren't exactly what we need.

I don't see how it would be that difficult. the cart format is VERY fast at streaming data. hence no probs there and there would be some fairly agressive compression algorithms at work.

This will enhance the kiddy feature if nick cartoons are on it, but oh well. If there's not going to be nick cartoons, GO SIMPSONS AND SOUTH PARK!
