Resident Evil 5 on the PS3 would be amazing. If Sony gives them a big enough budget and they take the time to really get the most out of the PS3 hardware I think it could be one of the top games for next-gen right there beside MGS4 and Heavenly Sword.

Not really wounding it has a DS..PSP in there as well-if that's all the rumors in the magazine...PSP support I don't know about that one-I've heard publishers like EA say there gonna support DS stronger with more titles but PSP games are coming out at a steady pace...Plus some big ones are coming out like FF7 prequel and Metal Gear Portable ops

Because it wouldn't make much sense that a story-driven game sequel is released on a different system ;) Then again, other than to make some more money, I don't see the purpose on releasing RE5 on 360 with this being the first RE game ever on Xbox, with no fan base on this platform. RE started on PS1 and was never really exclusive to PS, but...

Bear with me, as I take a walk in the memory lane. I was literally heartbroken when I heard RE-remake, RE0 and RE4 were going to be Gamecube exclusive. I had been an avid fan of the series on PS1. RE1(original), One of the first games that mesmerized my friends when I showed it to them. Imagine their awe level coming from 2D arcade backgrounds of KOF, AOF2 and Capcom/SNK stuff. They were FLOOOOORED by PS1's graphics when i showed them there is a system that does 3D graphics. RE1 was a world of difference from anything I and they had ever seen before it. Whoops, should end it here. :P

Dead Rising 2 on PS3 could be a possiblity...it was a sucess on the 360 so I doubt it would be exclusive all of a sudden to the PS3. So maybe it will just be mulit-platform instead.

Actually I agree with you that 1UP staff are pro-360 because it's a fact that Ziff-Davis in general (aside from Shane who's basically given a hard time everytime he defends Sony) is BLATANTLY pro-360.

Whether this is true or not, Sony really should be making sure Capcom is bringing as much exclusive content to the PS3 as possible.

There's an interview with the Q guys on the 1UP Show, and when "It's a pity you don't have the rights to Rez to make a sequel" was mentioned they start gigglin'.

And as far as Dead Rising and my favourite, Lost Planet staying 360 exclusive, this is all about guessing Capcom's corporate strategy. So see is there's any Capcom XBox games that have stayed exclusive to Xbox.

Also check their behaviour with Resident Evil, Code Veronica and 4.

Usually everything in the EGM rumor mill turns out to be just that, rumors. I can not at all see Dead Rising 2 being a ps3 exclusive after its been doing so well on the 360, even surpassing their original forcast.

Not surprising if this turns up true, the game also coming to the PlayStation. Awhile back, I did a quick search on Dead Rising along with another interesting title (Lost Planet, I believe) for the 360, and I noticed that they were by very well known third party developers. So I became skeptical about their exclusivity.

GTA was never exclusive and neither was Assassin Creed. If by time or possible time exclusive, then I agree. But that's hardly as rewarding if the game is to eventually turn up on another platform anyway. That's like Splinter Cell. It being time exclusive by a third party will eventually work its way to other consoles when they launch. So the deal to me is a bit pointless.

Lets hope that Lair, Eight days, killzone 2, Naughty dogs game, Resistance turn out great. I hope that the CGI demos showed for lair, killzone 2, eight will be the same quality in realtime gameplay.
