Just how good are the new PoP's?
I only saw my friend play Sands of Time once, and the others Ive never seen in motion. I guess they really intrigue me because they seem sort of Zelda-esque.
Anyway, I heard that, compared to Sands of Time, Warrior Within tried to fix alot of the problems, but turned into a more fighting heavy game instead of having lots of puzzles. Because of this its kind of the 'casual gamer's PoP'. Then with the Two Thrones it fixed more problems and balanced the fighting/puzzle bits, thus making it better than either of the first two.
So which one is the best? I saw the Two Thrones on xbox for really cheap, but I want to play it on PC (because my PC would be able to handle awesome graphics, or just a higher resolution). I also saw Warrior Within for cheap on PC, but the 3rd one is supposed to be the best.
What would you reccommend?
On another note, I saw King Kong on PC for like 20 bucks (the equivelent of 10 US) and was wondering if that is worth it. (Remembering that I will be able to play it on best graphics). Ive heard its awesome but doesnt last long. If it really is that good then Id give it a go since I get bored quickly and usually stop playing a game after a week or so regaurdless of if I beat it or not. :(

First of all, I love these latest three Prince Of Persia games.
Secondly, okay.
Sands Of Time has the most enjoyable story.
Warrior Within gets all dark, but the fighting gets MUCH better.
The Two Thrones is loses most of the darkness, the fighting gets better, and is the best overall.
But because these three games are part of one storyline (well, technically each does stand on it's own,) and because the second two are about the reprecussions of the prince's time-travelling, it's best to play them in order.
If only because if you play them in reverse order, you're going to be progressivly dissapointed with the gameplay mechanics.
They all have the same appeal, gameplaywise, so if you like playing one, you'll probably like the playing the others.
Like the 3D GTA games.
These three games are Zelda-esque, but it's a very barebones Zelda-esqueness.
Image Zelda.
Now take out the RPG stuff.
Take out the inventory of weapons and stuff.
Give Link cool acrobatic moves.
Make the world linear.
And you have Sands Of Time.
Take away the Nintendo charm, and you have Two Thrones.
Dress it up like a big goth, and you have Warrior Within.
If that makes any sense.

Okay.
The story starts with the Prince's father's (the king's,) army invading this palace place.
You make your way in by yourself, find a.. magic dagger ("magic" for lack a better word,) and meet up with your father and some guys.
There's this big hourglass and the evil guy (very much like Jafar from Aladdin,) tells you to put your dagger into it, kinda like a key.
He says some magic words and everyone but himself, you and this slave girl (hey hey!) get transformed into monster-type monsters.
You and the girl run around, and you eventually find out how to rewind time about ten second into the past (it's REALLY useful.)
The two of you go around killing things, solving puzzles, doing acrobatics and... killing things.
I kindof forgot why you do what you do in the middle of the game, but you end up climbing up the broken bits of the outside of a rather large tower.
I won't spoil the end, but it's not really important how it ends.
All you really need to know for the second game to make sense it that you messed around with the timeline.
I mean, there's a kind of gap between 'Sands' and 'Warrior' anyway, but it'll make sense at some point in 'Warrior'.
It does help to know about the events and characters from the first game before playing 'Thrones' though.

I dunno, I get very bored of games very quickly. I might just jump right into the last one.
Oh, and I also bought King Kong for PC.
And 'The Last Boyscout' on DVD.
