It is Funny how a lot of people want the PS3 to out perform any other console on the market, and could to compared to the Highest performing computer gaming rig with the latest CPU and GPU available on the market which can run over a $1000+ in most cases. But yet they are not willing to cough up the money for it. IF we compare the latest Computer gaming rig to the PS3 will see various similarities between the two system but yet one cost twice as much as the other. Let me brake it down for you guys maybe i can get through too you guys who think the PS3 is too expensive.

Notice that the Performance PC's don't Have a Physic accelerator in specs and a Blue-Ray Drive. I know you can add a Physic accelerator to the PC but that's going to cost an addition $200+ to the price tag.

The PS3 will Out-perform the mid-range Performance PC rig. The high performance PC rig will out perform the PS3 but not by a wide margin. Note that the PS3 has three advantages over it's PC's counter parts, one. Built in physic accelerator, two. BLue-Ray Drive and Three. PS3 is built specifically for gamin:chinese2: g while computer's are not.

You be the judge. You want high performance for gaming it's either the PS3 or PC.

BTW the PS3 will be my only next gen system, and thats primarily because of the games. I will use most of the extra features too, but thats just an added bonus. However I will still always have a PC and that as well as the fact that PC's are sold to make profit and the PS3 will be sold at a loss for probably the first year or so are the reasons that the two shouldnt be compared.
