What is going wrong with the world...

“I think Peter Moore is exactly right. I think Nintendo will be the second system consumers purchase after PlayStation 3.”

“I haven’t had a chance to check out the Wii myself, but Nintendo has a great history of innovation and has always done great things for gaming and long may they do so. But as it relates to our strategy they are very much in a different market.”
Oo Lethal...Sony and Microsoft both saying buy a Wii, that's gonna really make people want to buy a 360 and Ps3.

Sony: "Buy a PlayStation 3 and a Wii!"

Microsoft: "Buy an Xbox 360 and a Wii!"

Nintendo: *cash and marketshare omfg*

LOL

It's like 50% will own a PS3, 50% will own a 360, both sides will own a Wii

I wonder, what percentage of people who will own a Wii will also own one of the others?

Neither one of them actually means what they say about Nintendo, all they're trying to do is take a stab at each other, they're just using Nintendo to do this.

Who gives a fuck, they both suck.

Damn you Lynk, I wanted to be the first with a Smash Bros. Sig. But its 90% done and then I got sick and had to go to bed. :(

By the way, Phil Harrison pisses me off.

As I believe I said in the thread about Moore's comments, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." It's the PS3 and 360 that are directly competing against each other, so they're both making whatever cheap shots they can against the other. Moore's comments still made more sense, though, as he pointed out that you can snag a 360 and Wii for the price of the PS3 by itself. Harrison's just saying what I've been telling folks all along: Whether you go with a PS3 or a 360, Wii's the best choice for a second platform.

um.......he actually directly quoted him, but thanks for playing!
To steal something would require that the original aource DIDN'T get credit.

That's stupid, and it's not like you see me running around going "OMFG NINTENO!", he stole it, he put Ps3 instead of 360 to make a point of buying the Ps3 and Wii instead of the 360 and Wii, when I first made the thread I was gonna title it something along the lines of "Phil Harrison says yes to Wii" but in the end I decided it was more of a steal then anything because he wouldn't have said it if Peter Moore didn't, just like how the fanboys talked about the 6 degree's of motion in the ps3 controller, you obviously can't see some something the rest of us can, but hey, I really don't care, what pissed me off was the grow up part, ridiculous. What's worse, someone posting a actual event that happened, with a slightly bias (if you can call it that) title, or somone breakbackingly defending Sony like they can do no wrong, thank you for wasting 5 minutes of my life.

alrighty then......

You used a highly volatile word; I could go do a search on how many times someone ignorantly blamed Sony for stealing something, but I would waste my entire day finding the numerous examples. Tip: if you don't want to get flamed, don't post such conrtoversial propoganda. I understand where you are coming from with the title, I just didnt' think it was as funny or oppropriate as you did. But again, its not "stealing" if you give credit where credit is do. If you ask me(which I know you probably don't care), a more fitting title would have been, OMG PHIL AGREES WITH MS! But you chose to side with Sony haters/naysayers and accuse them of stealing something, which at this point is just irritating. I actually agree with both of them as well, this generation teh console war will be between the two top-dogs, as everyone will see Wii as the affordable console, thus leaving two expensive ones to choose from. This could inherently cause Wii to be the outright winner, but there still needs to be a competition for second. Phil was merely stating that he thinks the PS3 is the better choice(over 360). But whatever.......

btw - you wasted your own 5 minutes, i had nothing to do with it, if you weren't so offended by what I had said, maybe you coudl have done somehtign more productive with that 5 minutes(like watch some porn, or post in the madhouse)

Now I understand where your coming from, but it's not like I post here often, so why would I keep up with the trends of this forum. That was my main point. Even when I did post, it's not like I was utterly anti-sony, though I was anti psp for awhile.

Damn you Lynk, I wanted to be the first with a Smash Bros. Sig.Cheaply made or not, mine was the first anyway, before him.

Anyway, if Nintendo says to buy a Wii, Microsoft says to buy a Wii and Sony says to buy a Wii, that means some serious sales for Nintendo. Zeep said it best.
