Hey has anybody heard about there being problems with Brain Age? It seems that the system doesn't respond to the word "blue" unless I try to trick it (by saying rue) and it doesn't know what the number seven is! Seriously wtf?

I googled my problems but I haven't found anything, is this only happening on the japanese DS Lite or something? I mean Nintendo has never released a game this sloppily before. The damn game must think I'm retarded or something because I have a Brain Age of 80 thanks to these problems...

I've seen Derrick in real life and he could pass off as an 80 year old female cracker...

No problem so far. I been playing ti for about a week and a half and had no problems. The color part where you have to say blue or red is very frustrating but it accepts it after a while.

The numbers is where it's a bit of the same. It works just fine but sometimes it does change your writing into something different. For example: 1 = 7, 2 = 5, 9 = 0. And so on very rarely does it do that but it happens.

One SERIOUS problem I found was triyng to write letters. For the love of "anything" I could not get brain age to identify my "p" it would always write "q" as much as I tried. A lot of letter are just meesed up in the program or it was just me IDK but stupid thing coudln't identify soo many letters until furthur tries. But overall its a great "game" been having "fun" doing math problems lol

Well Sudoku is fun :spiny:

I've never had problems with drawing any numbers...or rather, I have very rarely had such problems, and only cause my handwriting is shit. I've had trouble with the blue thing though. I find that if I hold out the "oo" sound a bit longer it picks it up usually.

Actually, that has caused me to stop playing the microphone games altogether. It was really irritating.

beacause of the similarities of "blue" and "black" the game really only listens to the last part. emphasize the "oo" and "ack" rather than the "bl" and it should be fine.

as for 7, i've never heard of people having any problems with that. Make sure you're got a good-sized "hat" part on top, and a long slanted bottom part. if you're someone who writes the cross-piece in the middle of the diagonal, don't.

7

just like that.

I had trouble with Blue, but then I just realized that I was holding the DS too close to myself. If I keep it a decent distance away, it's mostly fine.

oh yeah, that's a problem a lot of people have too. they think they have to hold the DS right up to their mouth. that's not how the voice recognition was programmed. hold it a good 8-12 inches away, as if you were reading a book normally.
