Road to acceptance:

5 Stages of Grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance

Denial:

No, it is a joke, they are joking! It is an E3 pre joke! It must be...It must be!!!

Anger

My God! I hope the toss the gord-headed ,backwater, nose picking, water fountain decicrating, market name hack out through a closed office window on a story > 30!!!!
WHO ARE THE AD-WIZZARDS THAT CAME UP WITH THIS ONE?!? HITTING A NEWSPAPER WITH A LAWN DART, WHILE SOMEONE WAS READING IT, AND GATHERING ALL THE LETTERS AROUND THE HOLE CREATED WOULD YEILD A NAME SUPERIOR THAN WEE!

Nintendo shipped its wee today! Get in line to be the first on the block to touch Nintendo's wee! Nintendo's wee has motion sensitive control inputs! Wii nintendo? Wiii!!! Wii must you torture me!!!

No better way to make it universal than to get everything else right, then take two steps back the shoot yourself in the foot with a WW2 style anti-aircraft gun!

BARGAINING

Ok, maybe if there are enough of us that still call it the revolution, we can forget that Nintendo we'ed it. Yes, and if that happens, they will have to call it the revolution! Please Nintendo! I'll buy, two.... NO THREE! revolution consoles if you just keep the same name! Please don't wee on my revolution!

DEPRESSION

My console is named after a children's name for urine...They named my console after urine.

DEPRESSION part 2

What is the use!...

DEPRESSION part 3

Humm, I can think of far too many "wee" jokes.....this is sad.

Depression part 4
:honor:

Acceptance

Hi, I was wondering what is the price of your we?

:dazed: Owwwww.

...Sorry, let me re-phrase.

What is the price on your Nintendo Wii?

------------------------------------------------------------------------

And the Lord did Grin,
And the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths, and carp and anchovies, and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit-bats...

And all was right in the world.

It's funny 'cause it's true.

That's basically what I went through yesterday.

well the only part i went through was denial and that was for only a few minutes. after that it and a few humourous jokes i was all accepting. no anger, no bargaining, no depression.

the name may not sound good but it does look nice. Wii. it will look inviting when seen on a store sign.

The name sure takes some getting used to. I think, in time, everybody will get over the shock. Personally, I'm starting my therapy right now. The doc says I should be fine within the next month.

(I'm kidding, of course.)

I agree with that part.

Yup I am buying a Revoltion too, not a Wii.
