I just like the Red and Green becauase they look so different. If they released the Red, I would buy it in a flash.

well....they are not the best... thats for sure.

But you do know that the colors technically are yet to be finalized.

My guess it that white an black will be standard and available at launch.

If they were to choose only one, it would likely be white. I conclude this because Nintendo recently went with white for the Nintendo DS Lite and has always shown (at least in videos and promos) the white version to the masses.

When the GC was officially unveiled, it too was displayed in a multitude of colors. As have practically all next gen consoles and current gen handhelds yet few of those colors actually exist on the market or will by the time they launch.

No color's going to appeal to everybody, but there's always somebody out there that would be thrilled about any given color. Someone out there would love to get ahold of a yellow Revolution, another Joe would be tickled to snag a purple one, another guy would go nuts over a sky blue one, yet another fellow would really dig a pink one, and so on. I've seen many electronic devices come out in a range of colors, including various consoles and controllers as well as non-gaming stuff like cell phones, cameras, and MP3 players. Having a red or green Revolution/controller isn't any crazier than having these colors or any other colors elsewhere.

I will buy the white Revolution at lunch. It's looking so ... good! But the black und the silver are also nice ... Maybe I should buy three Revolutions. Yes, that's a good idea. Now I must only watch out for the money!

Honestly, I'd like to have different colored controllers. I did that with GameCube, as all of my GCN controllers are colored differently from one another.

While I do agree that the green looks pretty meh from my standpoint, red looks good to me. Then again, I guess having a Red DS makes you get used to the bright red color :P

But then again, for some reason Nintendo went with purple as their primary color last time around. So who knows what might happen?

I loved purple and I was the third person at my Walmart to pick up a GameCube when it was released (of course I got purple), but it just wasn't a smart marketing strategy. I would go with black or white over green or red (which I like the best) so that the marketing could work a little better this time around.

Indigo blows... ...I will be getting a white Rev... and it will match my glossy white Nintendo DS Lite.

For a while I was going back and forth between black and white.... and to be honest I think I like both so equally that I really just decided to go with what looked more unique with my electronics collection..... I have a miss matched collection of grey and black and silver electronics and theres no sense in pretending they all match......so why not add the sleek and sexy glossy white revolution.

I will be getting none other than the black. I try to make sure everything I get is black or at least doesn't conflict too badly with it. Plus, no matter where you take it, or what decor, it will go with pretty much anything. White too, but some of those colors are damned tempting though. They just look so cool!
