Interesting, but i don't know how they'd fit it onto the controller. I don't think i'd like my hands to constantly bump into the buttons. Anyways, it would be interesting to see how they might implement it, if true.

With "touch sensitivity" that could also mean another term for gameplay. Pointing can be like point and click games on the PC have but touch sensitive would be like playing a "Feel the Magic" kind of gameplay.

this could possibly explain the new patent released by nintendo regarding the touch sensitive panel also featured on NNOW:

It's possible but that sounds expensive.

One other possible meaning is that the buttons are 'pressure' sensitive giving a sense of depth to each button.

yes..... I saw this when I posted the interview on our main page.

I thought it was just a mistake from EA... ....but who knows what he really meant.

Or it could deal with vibration and restrictive Gyroscopes.

That would be interesting if there was a touch screen cover there all along.

Thought it wouldn't be very good for the battery...

Well the option to use wire or not while at the same time having a self-rechargeable controller should be there. Probably won't happen, but I'm hoping.

that would be great.

that is the way i am leaning more to. touch sensitive doesnt sound like it means touch screen. think of it this way, the revmote is a stylus that doesnt need to touch a screen. but to make it touch sensitive there needs to be some mechanism to give your hand the feeling its touching something in the game. (eg your revmote is controlling a car from a birds-eye view, you run the car into a wall and your hand gets jerked slightly into the opposite direction it was going). i'm not saying you move your hand and then it suddenly stops and you cant move the control ever again. i'm saying instead of the controller rumbling and buzzing like we have these days. it rumbles or jerks in a direction relative to the direction of the object it's controlling inside the game.

Nintendo dont just want us to play games. they want us to be more inside the game. they've already put us more into the game with the revmote control style. what better way to make us feel the game than more realistic rumble/feedback. they say they still have more up their sleeves. advancement in rumble/feedback isnt out of the question. battery could be a worry but Nintendo havent disappointed in that department.
