I could possibly be getting a PS2 this holiday season and want to know what games I should get with it. Any sugguestions?

If you dont already have a GCN than get that instead. If you already have a GCN than get an xbox instead of a playstation 2. You will be much happier.

Kingdom Hearts. Final Fantasy Tactics if you don't already have it. Avoid Blood Rayne, get Dynasty Warriors....maybe one of the MegaMan X games, I'd go with X5, but not many people would agree. Final Fantasy X wasn't so bad, but again not everyone would agree. Umm....GTA3?

get a ps2 its awsome and buy a game called Dark Cloud 2 it has over 100 hours of gameplay and its really ADIICTING and always always HATE x-box!

get a ps2 i hate xbox. Get gta double pack, ffx, ffx2 when it comes out if you like final fantasy, and mgs2.

Okay no. Xbox you can add custom soundtracks into GTA double pack and TrueCrime. And if you have HDTV and/or Surround sound, all the better.

I seriously do not care about custom sound tracks.

People treat them like its worth buying an Xbox just so you can listen to 50 cent while running over hookers.

stereo typical white boy............................NOT ME, lets just say a lil james brown and shit while bustin hookers is what i like, maybe a lil xmas music, its called, being able to choose your music, rather than the techno CRAP they put on some of these games. Plus in True Crime WSC and snoop dogg are on the soundtrack, no 50 anywhere, gimmicks don't get too much love

You know, there is another way to get a custom soundtrack while playing games.
Turn off the music in the game and either

1) Turn on a stereo
or
2) Download the song onto a file sharing program

Christ, if he wants a PS2 than let him have it. Dynasty Warriors is cool though, I play it at my friends house.
