I know this thread is point less but i keep getting a urge to get xbox cause i really like online play but i love mario games way to much i can't stand it!! DAM It nintendo make some freaking online games!!!!

Preaching to the choir. However, you have the best online offering already, a PC.


My epiphany......it just hit me.

Sony and MS are supporting online as a way to cover up the weak single player experience on many of their games.

Nintendo only supports third party online, and possibly Animal Crossing 2.

Or be one of those crazy people, like myself, who work 5+ days a week along with going to school and don't have time to have people over. Besides, I like having the entire screen to myself.

I had an xbox at one point, and I currently have a ps2 and of course a gamecube. This is what will happen if you buy an xbox.

1) pretty graphics draw you in for about a week
2) Play Halo for a month
3) Halo gets boring search for new games
4) realize there is little else out there
5) trade in xbox for a ps2

Thats the senario I went through and I'm glad its gone.

Really? Here's what I went through:

1) Worked all summer to be able to buy system, Halo, and an extra controller
2) Got job at GameStop, bought many more games.
3) Continue to buy games
4) Keep buying games
5) Bought GameCube for the couple of exclusive games I wanted
6) Continue to buy Xbox games, with a GCN game here-and-there

I really wish that gamecube would get with the program and make games that go on-line for free like the ps2 does. That fantasy star online game wants you to pay by the month which i think is crazy.

Nintendo is stubborn. You kinda have to love em for what they are. As far as you getting an Xbox, I reccomend it. Xbox is a good system. Nintendo is better and always will be. The point should be that ONLINE GAMEPLAY IS WAY OVERATED.

Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shenmue II, Steel Battalion, Gunvalkyrie, Crimson Sea, Deathrow, Otogi, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee - all shallow.

Halo is old, overrated, and on a PC now
morrowind is too long and boring
Wolfenstein is 10000x better on a pc
SW:KOTR is the only good game on that list availabile only for xbox

This is the problem with xbox MOST of the good games you can buy it for the PC now. Playing them on a PC is much better

out of your list and Phanty's the only games I would consider buying are Panzer Dragoon and STW:KOTR.

if i may......
ut2k3 on pc is VERY GOOD GAME ......IF you have dsl cable etc.

im on 56k now but im getting duel dsl in a month or so :)

pick it up asap plus judging from pics and opinions ut2k3 has better gfx on pc (compared to uc for xbox) and more players on a server on pc

im pickin up halo for pc after i get DSL im just hopin my radeon 9000 can handle the game
