View Full Version : Animal Crossing and the e-reader

Ive been addicted to Animal Crossing ever since it came out on the gamecube, and the idea of using the e-reader cards has sounded interesting.

But im wondering if its worth the money. I can see how it might add to the fun of the game, but im not sure i want to spend the money.

Has anyone here used the e-reader for the use with this game? If so state your opinion.

It's pretty neat.. With it you get to go to other 'worlds' and such, and you get some other neat add-ons. To me, it was worth it.. There are a lot of Animal Crossing cards, and with each you get some really awesome stuff. :)

Sounds interesting, but can you get the NES games through the e-reader?

Other worlds? I have the E reader and animal crossing I never heard of Other worlds.

Don't know, he said "other" though so he is probably just describing them like that, although I heard there are a few NES games you can get. I want Animal Crossing, but I'm afraid if, say something happened last halloween where you found a rare NES game, that this coming Halloween, you couldn't get the NES game b/c that was last years thing...anyone know if that's hwo the game is or if you can still get everything you had missed?

You find nes game at random in the game. I dunno much about halloween. I hate the towns people takin my shit.

you can controll the clock, so if you wanted you could have christmas every day if you wanted to....

but if you go to KMart you get the players guide with it, so that might be worth checkin into.

You get new furniture with it. Some of the things are only available in the game through the ereader. Best is you get an old NEC game in each pack of cards that can be played on the GBA. In my opinion, save your money. It's more fun using the GBA to get stuff from the island fisherman. Get another memory card and make a million towns tearing them down when your tired of them or the stupid turtle wont put your bridge where you want it.
