hey everyone. i've been a member at the official sony forums for a litte while now, but with all the bs n-siders flooding the boards over there, i stumbled on these forums, which are really excellent in comparison. i've been browsing the threads for a litte while now, but with the awesome news i've motivated myself to sign up.

i really can't believe how awesome this news is. the ds has NOTHING on the psp anymore. it's unbelievable, in the space of a few minutes, sony just destroyed nintendo and they don't even know it yet.

price, not an issue. battery life, actually in SONY's favour. if you're willing to buy an extra battery or two, you can get more continuous portable gameplay than you'll ever get on the ds.

games... also not an issue, and i really can't get over the FFVII-2 game they are working on for the psp, crisis core. so not only do i get that on the psp, but dirge of cerberus on the ps2, and advent children for the psp/dvd.

i can't get over this....

All this Nintendo bashing is pissing me off! I'm not a fanboy! I'm gonna get both a DS and a PSP. The DS is out on the 21st of November in the US and there are a lot of pre-orders for it because it will most likely not be region coded. I've pre-ordered it and I live in Australia and people in Europe and other countries will get it from America because otherwise we'll have to wait 'til March next year. Nintendo is no way going to die. They've been making games for way longer than SONY. The PSP will probably be region coded (I hope not) so unless you live in Japan, you'll have to wait 'til March next year. The DS will've been out for months by then.

I'm also a member of Sony's official PSP forums, lately it seems like a lot of DS fanboys have came from the N-sider forums to Sony's official PSP forum to start a lot of trouble there, I just registered at this forum and I would like to say hello to all it's members, finaly a PSP forum were I can get away from those pesky DS fanboys! :D
