What about Chrono Cross or Chrono Trigger remake?

Seeing PSP will become the next handheld with decent Rpgs.. i really want a remake of CT.. and i dont mind a direct port of CC (although its forbidden from Sony).

anyone who has played both games will understand why i would like to have this game on PSP.

I know GBA has many good rpgs.. but i want rpgs with atleast todays standard graphics and not flat one. :)

I think that would be great. Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite and one of the best RPG's ever. And I know it would boost sales for PSP.

they are already great games id rather see a sequel to chorno trigger since chrono cross wasnt really a sequel
it had almsot nothgin to do directly with chrono trigger

Simply a rumour then. Well, I haven't played Chrono Cross, as it was never released over here. Played Chrono Trigger though, and by that, I wouldn't mind seeing another one. And, Square, if you're reading, release it in Europe! :P

Yea..i heard about the rumor as well...like 3 years back. they also had pictures for the rumored game (like 20x20 pixel so people couldn't tell0.

The 1 i read about was on a chrono shrine type fansite..which also boasts rumors like reviving aeris by morphing emerald weapon and stuff on its forums

I heard there was meant to be a chrono trigger game for PS2 called, "Chrono Break". This is what I found while doing a google search:

Sad news rolls of Square-Enix today. It seems that the game publisher has let go of it's US trademark for the name Chrono Break. It would now seem very unlikely that they are still planning on making the game. Interestingly though, they're still holding on to their Japanese trademark for Chrono Break.

Perhaps the US is simply getting the game under a diffrent name? We don't know. And with Masato Katou having left Square-Enix, we may not know for quite some time.

Yeah Suikoden was good but i have to admit Ct and CC were both great games and i would love to see a new one on PSP or a remake wouldnt make a diffrence i would still get one.

Yea i've played all the suikoden games and looking forward to suikoden 4 for ps2.

Chrono trigger is still hailed as one of the greatest rpg's of all time along with xenogears and the lunar series

What sucks is that none of these RPG's ever get released in Europe. Argh!

The first two Suikoden games are hard to come by. The third game was never released, and now for some reason they've decided to release the fourth game over here.

Xenogears and Chrono Cross never made their way over here, and it looks like the same for the Xenosaga series.

1 and 2 were, that's what I said. Though nowadays you'll have a hard time finding them anywhere apart from eBay. Most auctions for the first game go above £60 now. Suikoden III was never released in Europe.

Suikoden 4 takes place in the past before Suikoden 1, where Ted lost his SoulEater rune for a few years. Can't wait to find out what happened =)

Jowy was cool, kinda sad that he had to die in the end because his intentions weren't all that bad.

1 thing i didn't like about the main char in suik 2 was the fact that he never talked in text...he just made decisions etc

Yea i imported that game. It just went more indept into the story. I loved the war system, an advanced version of Rock Paper Scissors. A dream would come true if i could play it portable. Well the main character isn't supposed to talk, you're seeing the story from his view. Well Suikoden 4 will have Ship Battles.

Chrono Break was apparently registered by Square ages ago. We need a new Chrono or Mana game on PSP.

Sorry to burst your guys bubble, but the guy who created the Chrono series isn't at Square anymore (he's doing stuff at Namco now I believe).

Chrono Break was registered years ago, and thats all anyone knew about it. Square never said anything about it since, so it has more than likely been scrapped.

But that doesn't mean someone else can't take over for him. If they ARE going to make another Chrono game, then they WILL have to find another guy to direct the game.

it's been awhile but i'll post anyways.......if chrono came back i would be happy i loved the first ones and even if somone else made then i'm sure it would be good...i just want to see some RPG's on the psp period ....i love RPG's. :D

i would rather have a new chrono...what is with people and remakes..its like a squirrel.. they are unsure of something new on the other side of the road and they are almost there and cars are coming so they try and run back to their starting point but get run over.
you people need to explore more and want something new and not the same old thing over and over.

well crash was made by a different developer and not naughtydog and thats why it sucks

chrono trigger?....you said that you never played a final fantasy game under ff8.......ff anthology was on the same disk as chrono trigger...so...that's kinda wierd. how did you play one withouit playing the other?

i barrowed it for like a day so i only played trigger and not the others...i dunno was there more then one disc? i dunno i just played trigger and not the rest but i do remeber them on the cover i think...its been awhile
