Do you want to see the direct feed of PSP in action that has not been allowed to go online due to Sony?

If you go to the link below and follow the instructions on screen, you can sign a petition that may help/speed up the release of the PSP direct feed. It doesn't take long to fill in and little details are required, so what have you to lose? Just imagine being able to see PSP in action...I know i'd like to.

Well I cant wait to get it either but if Sony gathers more time let em be---i mean they know what they're doing and when they do something they do it right.

What's this about? What do you mean by giving IGN direct feed of the PSP?

I don't get this either. Everybody's seen the PSP now anyway, so what's the big fuss?

Well so far all that we have seen are videos either on TV or on the PSP's screen. None of the games yet have actually been running on the PSP using it's own graphics power. Direct feed would be (I assume) the PSP running a 3D game all by itself. This is much more interesting as it gives a real idea of PSP (fps, quality etc.) All the vids so far are off of dev kits emulators. If you see what I mean.

Tales of Eternia was playing on the PSP itself!

from fishie (get to know him!)

the psp's were just empty shells with a LCD screen inside receiving input from a computer with a cable and with controller input too.
So the demo's that were playable, (like Tales Of Eternia) but just running on an emulator on a pc behind the walls or under the psp stands. Nor were there videos running from a UMD he says but EVERYTHING was running each time from a computer.
He even says that the prototype ken Kutaragi was keeping in his pocket couldn't even be turned on.

but some games were programmed on/using the final hardware.

Emulator or not, the Psp will have the same effect. The LCD screen with games and movies were of good quality so the Psp will probabaly feature the same, if not better, picture quality.

E3 was just to show off the PSP hardware, just wait till TGS for direct feed where it shows off the software power.
