It may be Stupid!
Surely if you are gonna start a new topic, put some more information that this! I know you are new, but for future reference go into more detail when starting a new topic, because this is not adequate.

Id love to see either a shenmue or a sonic make it to the PSP.
Sonic is more likely though but shemue would be better IMO.

true
I've never had the chance to have a go at shenmue, if they released it on the PSP I'd love to try all it delights on the move. :P

If it's Sonic, there's no reason for SEGA to keep it secret.
Sonic isnt the hot topic like years ago.. it becomes normal these days. All system has Sonic.. so no reason for SEGA to keep it a secret.
It's definitely not Sonic.. it could be shenmue or Phantasy Star or any other new game.

it will most likely be a sonic game for the psp. they will probably do some PSP-ps2 connecting type of game.

Something like sonic adventure for the psp should be very cool, with a lot of sensation of speed...sound good :)
It exists, but there's not really any info at all on it.

It's not Sonic that you can be SURE about cause when Sega said they were doing these games they also said they were doing 2 games for the DS as well and one of them was Sonic and the other was Project ...
So Shenmue maybe but not Sonic cause they wouldn't keep it secret

Sega has been going down hill ever since they stopped supporting Dreamcast. I bought quite a few Sega games for other consoles since then and I gotta say I'm shocked. If they release another game I would do some serious thinking before considering getting it on my PSP, although I didn't even bother getting a couple of their last console games. Doubt I'll ever buy any of their games again, unless it's Shenmue =).

sega went down because of the dreamcast didnt they?
Well, sort of. Sega pissed off a lot of people by going to the CD format with the Saturn, as that meant that they couldn't carry support with the 32X. I think that there were only a few games for the 32X. Then PSOne then ended up outselling the Saturn by a considerable margin.
The Dreamcast was around the same kind of time as the launch of the PS2, so I think that a lot more people went for the PS2 as people had lost trust with Sega.
At least that's the way I see it anyway. It's a shame really, because the Dreamcast is a decent console.

i thoght the dreamcast came outa bit b4 ps2, but it was a bit ahead of its times (online gaming etc)
It did come out a little before the PS2, but I think that a lot of people decided to hold out for the PS2.

Sega Saturn didnt sell well and Sega threw down one last console to see if they could pull it off but funding became a problem and they thought they better drop the DC and use the little money they have left to focus on games.
They dont have any more funding problems because theyve been bought by one of the richest firms on the planet so the possibility of a console and the amount and quality of games should take a sharp rise soon.

Now i'm certain that project s will not be a sonic game. these are screens of sonic for the NDS system. I bet sega will port this sonic game on the psp but with way better graphics. the DS sucks look how bad sonic looks. all pixelated no where near dreamcast graphics.

Yeah i think the DS is definitely a kiddy console.... like look at the sonic demo - you have to rub the screen to make him move... wtf it that? Gay, thats what it is. Also, the game list for DS seems to me like mostly kiddy games, wheras sony stated clearly in the press conference that "Our primary target is those aged 18 to 34." In terms of 'Project S', i very much doubt it has anything to do with sonic, or (shenmue?). I have reason to believe that it has somehting to do with racing, like GT4 (that style).
p.s. for those of you that think this post is a load of bs, im too lazy right now to give addresses and proof of my statements

Man I feel you sundevil but come on we all know Sega were in the red for a whole decade, man without money you cannot do anything and with being in the red for so long they didnt have a chance, it was money that messed up Sega, if they had enough money they would be fine.

They were struggeling competing with the Snes untill they released Sonic, which made the Genesis outsell the Snes and all other systems untill the Ps1 came along and basicly killed all other consoles with Sega's. Sega never got a good shot at redeeming it's place and the DC was their last effort, which failed due to the many reasons sundevil gave.

Yeah, they really did, i only hope they will achieve the same with the Ps3 because the X-box has gotten too close of a competitor(in user fan bases).
I know a forum with nothing but X-box fanboys, and it's not even an X-box forum. But they acctually know what they're talking about instead of thenextbox.com
Even when they post the weekly sales of all systems (with Ps2 almost always on top, even still above the Gba sp) they still won't accept it and keep saying things like: Yes, X-box has passed the Ps1 - X-box above zodiac, great - Ps2 dropped in sales by 200 units (while the X-box get's an avarage of 500 p/w and the ps2 around 30.000-40.000 p/w) - and so on and so on
They won't accept the fact the ps2 manages to outsell everything else seeing it's the oldest system of them all and still putting out better graphics than most middle-range X-box titles.
Damn, what have i done. I got a little carried away.
