Better than no drop at all I guess. What was the previous price anyway?

179.99
That's not too bad. You could buy a game with that money.
I'm in lazy ass bastard mode, so what would that be in our currency? Do you think that there will be a price cut over here?
Well it's a good job I'm in "Drank Far Too Much Coffee For My Own Good" mode then! :)
$149.99 = £85.35
I think that the PS2 is dropping to the sub-£100 price over here soon, so it's not that bad I guess.
£85 for a PS2... God damn yanks... :x :x :x
As soon as it does drop over here I have to buy one, my PS2 has really had it. I was playing that Transformers demo and the lazer just went "clunk" and couldn't read the disk. I have to hit reset about 10 times to get the thing to work. :x
Heh, so you got your demo today as well then? Not bad is it? :)
My PS2 is on the way too. Hopefully the modded PS2's will drop in price with the drop of the regular PS2.

Well, they DID include the net work adapter in that.Without it,the price might as well be $129.So you both were still wrong.

some people may not be able to use the network adapter, but nice spam.

It isn't actually bad at all, from what I got to play of it... I wanted to play as Optimus Prime. :x
Heh, yea, I was slightly pissed off with that.

yeah and for a limited time you will get the ps2 with the network adaptor and some game there (forgot the name) all for 149.99 which is pretty good.
Something ATV... Not too sure. I'll take a wild guess and say ATV offroad fury. If I am correct I deserve a present! :P
You're probably right. That's the only game I can think of with ATV in it.
Here, have a cookie. Good luck getting it off him though.....

Well in the UK the ps2 has dropped in the BigW too £99.99 which is amazing for a home console expect microsoft to follow them..
Bundle packs on the GAME (http://shop.game.net/default.aspx) site are still retailing at £159.99. Looks like they haven't quite got the message yet :)

You guys have everything cheap - we have to pay $299 for a PS2 and $59.00 for a DVD remote.
All depends on what the currency conversion comes to though.

True, we dont have the strongest currency on earth but everything here seems so cheap..
We don't have it particularly great over here. Our brilliant government has this habit of whacking tax and various other bits of crap onto prices in this country.

WHsmith as well i have seen them at that price..
Shame dixsons are closing a load of there shops and one a cople of miles away from where i live has some games going cheap i might get some next week if they are still there.
Yea, the only ones they're going to keep open are the ones in retail parks. I'm surprised that GAME haven't picked up on these prices to be honest.

Man this year gaming is going to be bad for PS2 owners, we have so many great titles coming out so close together itll be a damn nightmare trying to work out which one to play first.
Time to save some pennies I think.

Yeah unless youve got a modchip :P
Well you'll still have to save some anyway. Because they'll all be coming out around the same time in both regions.

Near me in GAME they've got network adaptors going with Twisted Metal Black for £19.99... I think me is going to get one soon  if not for the game but the adaptor for that price.
Well considering that each of those is normally £30, I'd get one as quickly as possible! :)
