i doubt it - the PSP discs are the same size and capacity as the GCN's and since rockstar have had a lot of problems with the GCN discs i don't think they will even attempt a PSP version...unless they specially designed it.

both discs can store 1.8gigs of data...but the GCN has a giant wod on a small black ring ring which you can see on the back of the discs which is the area rockstar have problems with

God I hate it when people say they're huge GTA fans, but have never even played the first 3. (GTA, GTA:London 1969, GTA2). If Take Two does release a PSP version of GTA it will no doubt be styled after PS One GTA games. If you dont know what that means...too bad. Just look at GTA for Gameboy (not advance). :evil:

I played Gta and Gta2 and they were my absolute favorite games for a while both on my Pc and Ps1. Altough i did like them i would rather preffer a 3D Gta for the psp. A quick Gt2 port wouldn't be bad neither.

At the moment the only forseeable problem making a gta for the psp is the amout of data able to be stored on the umd disks.

PSP has both the power AND storage capacity to do something like GTA3 or Vice City. seriously, the UMD can easily provide enough space for a huge GTA game. fmv and voice take most of the space on a disc anyway.

GTA uses Ingame FMV's so it wouldn't take much room. the UMD's and the PSP could easily do a GTA.

they wont do that for a simple reason of the manufacturing cost if they want to have farily final price on the psp

Yea that's what I was thinking. No problem fitting them onto a UMD. Plus, who would want all that messing around of changing UMD's for the games anyway?

The thing with the early GTA's was the viewing was from a birds eye view obiviously this could be changed..

P.S..i got it wrong in a earlier post i was ment to say that OPS2 seem to think that they will make a version of vice city for psp.

Well they must have a trick up their sleeve, theyr not going to make a PSP with rocket launchers and coffee maker but without the ability to play a decent game.

Besides I'd like to think UMD's are a lot more flexible than that.

I actually play GTA3 with top-down view, to do this just press Select a few times. =) looks like GTA2 but smoother.

Nope its still headed for the GBA... I dont think it will do too well with DS and PSP headed to the market and SA will probably be out at around the same time so GTA fans will be busy with that.

Yeah but consider people are looking forward to the DS and PSP, theyll see great effects on those two handhelds and kind of overlook GTA on GBA.
