Here's an interesting offer - Two days ago, Ubi Soft announced that, for the month of January, they'll be offering a "Ubi Soft Action Pack." If you buy Prince of Persia, ($50 US) you'll get Splinter Cell (For the same platform.) free! This deal pertains to all platforms, including the PC. (I'd go for the PS2 versions.)
Ubi Soft's timing is kind of odd, starting so soon after the holidays, but nevertheless, it sounds like a good deal to me - Especially since I've been dying to play both games. However, I was wondering - is it really worth the money?
GameStop PS2 Prices (Used/New)
Splinter Cell - $30/$40
Prince of Persia - $45/$45
I was very disappointed by the PS2 version of Splinter Cell. If I didn't already have it, I'd go for either the PC or Xbox version.

Yeah, I don't have access to a PC good enough to handle Splinter Cell or Prince of Persia. (The Splinter Cell demo didn't even work on this computer.) I don't have a GC or an X-Box, and, unfortunately, I don't plan on getting either. (I'm spending enough on games as it is! Take this topic, for example.)

i actually liked the PS2 version the best, it was darker then the others thats one of the things i liked also when u had the night vision on it blurred in the back ground i thought that was cool.
I think the main reason why I wasn't too keen on the PS2 version is because I've got the Xbox version. When I came around to borrowing the PS2 version from a friend, it just didn't look as nice. I thought it was interesting that they modified the layout of the levels as well. So I was more or less playing it like I hadn't before, because I didn't know the levels.
