in australia, microsoft hav released some sort of pack thingy here are the details.


This exciting new pack not only offers massive entertainment, but massive value as well. The pack will go on sale on 14 November through Xbox retailers for a recommended retail price of only $459.

It shows yet again why the Xbox can be the entertainment centre for every household," said Alan Bowman, Regional Director of Xbox Australia.

The Xbox Massive Entertainment Pack will contain:
An Xbox, valued at $399*
An Xbox DVD Remote Control, valued at $49.95*
A copy of the award winning game, Halo™
A copy of the hottest racing title this Christmas, Sega GT 2002™
A copy of the popular inline-skating title, Jet Set Radio Future™ (games all valued at $99.95* each)

Gen i'm assuming ur in the US somewhere so i'll just clear up to u (incase u didn't know, if u did sorry) that $99.95 in australia is roughly $45-50 in the US. i think the exchange rate is about $0.55 Aussie dollar = $1.00 US

That's in Australian dollars.Translate it to American and it would be around $50.00

Oh yeah I'm not bothering to get an Xbox even with that deal.Financial reasons mostly contribute to that.

I know in Japan they have Jet Set Radio Future and Sega GT pack thingy too, but I don't think they have the same as you guys. Microsoft is doing there best to help Sega sell there games on there system.

in my opinion sega gt and jsrf are two games that blow big bag and sega should be very ashamed for making them. and YAY!!! i sold my xbox.... hehehe... lots of gamecube games for me now..:)

I hate to admit it but I've also been bitten by the bundle bug. Besides the fact that the deal they're offering is pretty hard to resist, I am a fan of racing games and the GC isn't doing me justice there. Add to that the fact that my DVD player is dying on me and it's pretty much a done deal now that I'll have an Xbox by Christmas. Maybe even tomorrow ... today was Thanksgiving and I've heard that Wal-Mart will have a 3 (THREE!) game bundle from 6am to 11am tomorrow ... Black Friday the #1 shopping day of the year. It's the earlybird special and they're supposedly throwing in Amped in addition to GT2002 and JSRF, still for $200. Amped isn't a great game but I'll take it for nothing, especially when the current bundle is already a great deal.

May the Ninty gods forgive me! Oh well, I'm still buying at least three GC games for Christmas, and Q1 of '03 is gonna tap my wallet pretty hard for GC games too.
