Final Fantasy: CC Sales

Who thinks FF:CC will sell systems b/c think of those FF fans who've played through every game so far. They aren't gonna say screw this. This should help the system out am I wrong?

yeah I think it will, a lot of PS2 loyalist will probably buy a cube.

Im not sure, i think that it might sell some, but i dont think that just CC will sell them on the cube.

It's possible, because my friend bought a Playstation 2 only because of Final Fantasy. Although some people may be turne off by the new look and feel of CC

It depends how good it is. If it feels like it's just a game that was made so Square could develope for GBA, and has no real polish to it, then no. However, if it is a truly epic game along the lines of Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and the other FF games, it will sell systems. Once it starts getting reviews, good or bad, then that will be the deciding factor. Also assuming they advertise it quite a bit, which I hope they will.

I bet a lot of people who are obsesses with the FF series are going to buy it and a cube if they don't have one.

Real time fighting, Envisage. Right? Anyway, i think that CC will boost gamecube sales, but because of how the characters look, the game will be just another 'kiddie game" to those nintendo-haters out there. I love the 'cube and just about every game Nintendo comes out with, not 3rd party games. i could care less about how "kiddie" the game looks. But what makes me kinda iffy about the game is the multiplayer factor. I don't have a lot of friends, and so will be playing it alone most of the time. Hope they make the single-player aspect just the same as they would a regular FF.

a fren of mine bought a PS2 for FFX
there are probably those ppl that will buy a cube for FFCC, but i don't think it will significantly influence sales figures...only die hard fans will buy a cube for FFCC

i think it will also depend quite heavily on the reviews it gets...because it is more 'kiddie' than FFX and has a new battle system etc....so i guess we'll all have to wait and see

Unless they advertise the hell out of it with a good commercial, the PS2 fans aren't gonna know about it.

I think it all depends right now, good advertising is definitely a key to success. I remember those awesome FFX commercials.

Lets hope SquareEnix does a good job in marketing.
