- Microsoft will release Xbox Live Starter Kit Volume 2 in US on April 30, for US$49,99. The package will include 12 monthly subscription to Xbox Live, Communicator Headset, Tetris World, MechAssault (demo) and MotoGP (demo).

My question is, if Microsoft plans to charge 9.99 a month when peoples subscriptions are up, then couldnt you just buy this for 50 bucks and get a year free instead of paying 120.00 ???

Microsoft isn't planning on charging $9.99 a month, and you can't just buy a new kit.

Because the original SK is already on the XBox and Microsoft could detect a different one.

They don't even know but they've been doing surveys on xbox.com asking how much...its probably going to be 50$ a year again or you could pay like 5$ monthly or something.

I just hope ill have broadband in time for Halo 2, so that i can play on XBox Live, screw the cost.
