Former head of Maxis Neil Young is now heading up Electronic Arts' main studio in Playa Vista, California, known fittingly as "EALA."
Young will monitor progress on new game properties and essentially be the embodiment of "quality control." Young was executive producer of the Lord of the Rings title prior to his new appointment.
