XBox owns Japan yet again

Well here we are again - Wednesday. That means you get Japanese hardware sales results. Below you will find the latest sales, courtesy of Media Create, for the week ending on April 13th. Just like last week, Nintendo's sleek new handheld continued to outsell all other systems. And, in what now seems to be a constant, Sony's old PSOne week in and week out sells more than Microsoft's Xbox. Interestingly, not only did the SP beat out its big brother, the GameCube, but so did the original Game Boy Advance. Here's the full list:


1. Game Boy Advance SP: 57,000 (Annual: 718,500)
2. PlayStation 2: 44,400 (Annual: 1,025,600)
3. Game Boy Advance: 12,000 (Annual: 805,300)
4. GameCube: 7,700 (Annual: 235,600)
5. PSOne: 1,200 (Annual: 34,000)
6. Xbox: 1,100 (Annual: 49,900)
7. Wonder Swan Crystal: 530 (Annual: 18,900)
8. Game Boy Color: 350 (Annual: 10,200)
9. Wonder Swan Color: 240 (Annual: 10,500)

I got your joke... It's just that I can never tell if you like or don't like X-Box. You seem to always have something bad to say about GameCube so I just thought that you were trying to find something that makes X-Box look good. If that were the case, this article certainly doesn't do so.

When I was at Best Buy yesterday there was two confused Asian ladies and a young kid buying an XBox - they got Blinx for free :eek:


And then a mom and three kids were buying an XBox, from what I overheard they already had the other two.
