They do appeal more to the casual market. Hence why the Wii is selling at such insane rates!

The only adverts I've seen from Nintendo this year are for Wii Fit 2 lol. They run quite frequently.

They did a smart thing that other advertisers seem to miss out on: they advertised two prices for if you have a balance board already or not from Wii Fit 1, so they get the most pressing question out of the way for most consumers right away.
