I think the Super Star Wars games for the SNES are some of the best for the system. Not to mention Super Metroid, Zelda, Lufia and The Gaia Trilogy. But I love those Star Wars games!

The Donkey Kong Country series (SNES) were the first and most enjoyable games I ever played on a system.

I would have to say the Final Fantasys that were released on it, Chrono Trigger, and Earthbound. I also like many of the games already named, so there isn't much point in saying them again.

I never owned a SNES, but with the games I've played on some, and some Roms I've played, I would say I like the Donkey Kong series. And Bubsy is of the chain; I've played it for Genesis.

Chrono Trigger is the best damn game I've ever played.
Super Mario World is my favorite Mario game.
Super Mario RPG is great.
Turtles in Time is the best in the Turtles series, IMO.
Super Mario Kart has ownage.
Street Fighter 2 is the best fighter I've played. Chun Li is the best.
I love my SNES, it was a steal at $20 Canadian dollars. Heh.

People only mention SNES because most people here are Nintendo gamers . . .
Both Gen and SNES had some of the best games ever created, those two lead the golden era of videogamedom . . .

I liked almost all of the rpgs on SNES. In my opinion, FF3/6 is the best final fantasy ever made. All of the final fantasies on PSX dissapointed me... I still can't understand why FF7 is "arguably the best game ever made". To be blunt, I hated FF7.

Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, NBA Jam and NHL 96 were some of my favourites.

Besides all those, these are some great games
Aerobiz: A criminally overlooked game.
Yoshi´s Cookie: My all-time fav puzzler (yes, I liked it more than Tetris). Some multiplayer battles I had there were absolute epics.
Ogre Battle: One of my favorite roms right now, this is a great lesson on a rts-rpg hybrid.
Syndicate: The PC version is better, but nevertheless, this one`s unforgettable. You can call it a GTA before its time.

Over the years, Sega has constantly pushed the game industry to new heights. From Sega's start in 1951 as a mechanical games maker to its current position as an industry leader, the Sega name has always been synonymous with quality and the cutting edge.
