I have a feeling it will be RE4. I haven't played any games in 2004 that I consider game of the year material, but there are a lot of good games to come. Ask this again in December.

Up until now....I'd say it will be NCAA 2005 tied with ESPN NFL 2k5, both of which will be out by the 20th of this month.

As of now it would have to be Four Swords, but I anticipate Resident Evil 4 to be my favorite game of the year by year's end, the only other possibilities are Four Swords, ToS, Baten Kaitos, Paper Mario 2, Pikmin 2, and Star Fox 2.
