I've been reading and looking at this game for ages. Read some of the diaries. Nicks ones. Their really good.

It's a game with no real goal or objective. You just live life as you see fit. I don't think I'll be getting this game.

Actually, graphics arn't everything. What about Harvest Moon, Crystal. They got just about the same graphics as Animal Crossing. Except for the PS2 version.

Good on ya!! Animal Crossing. You will think that it looks a bit strange. But I have been reading, talkin and playing (well trying too, it's on a rom). I love it!!!

Sims was well fun but now I thought of the game as really boring I hope Animal Crossing can do better. In fact this is Nintendo, it will do better.

Yep Yep! I believe this game will show that graphics aren't everything! Infact it may show that graphics are just a small part of a game.

Its meant to be brilliant if the import revoew from NGC magazine is anything to go by. I love how it makes use of the clock....

Oh and the dog in Phixed's dice is in there which is pretty cool...

And it has RACOONS! The greatest animal there is!

No GBA version, all though Animal Crossing will use the GBA-GC link cable.

The only thing I know about this game (which I'm still confused about, I mean there a bunch of animals with big heads running around) is that you can upload games to your GBA, like Donkey Kong Country etc. or something, at least thats what I heard.

How can you not like it?! It reeks of charm! Plus it has a racoon in it and we all know that racoons are the greatest animal there is.

I also like the idea of getting a NES for your birhday. Its a japanese one but it has balloon fight! It has more but you gotta wait next year :finger:

You don't always get a NES on your birthday, you can get one through special events like the contests at the end of the month at Tanuki's (Toom Nook's) store or you can buy one, but that is very rare. I think villages can also give you one when you perform special tasks for them. Same goes for NES games.

Theres other ways to scap stuff like the tip or whatever, but do you really want to be at the bottom of the economy chain?

Yeah, but most of the stuff is ratty old clothes. I read a diary at Animal Crossing Online saying the person had a white shirt with some blood on it. :laugh

I'm going to do anything for money to pay off the slave-driver Tanuki. Yes anything, then I will come back to my awesomely designed house, which will have cool stuff in it, like a NES, and fruit furniture.

I'm giddy like a school girl about this game.

Well now... If I knew there was such an interest in this game, I would have announced it to XL earlier...

Your wonderful admins, Sandman and Myself, are in the process of making an Animal Crossing website. The site was previously going to be a secret, but with all the support I see it getting allready, I feel I should let you know.

You get to visit an island with the GBA-GC link cable. On the island, there are 2 only houses, but there's also exotic fruit on that island that when you plant/bring back and sell in the forest it's worth a lot more than the normal fruit you will have in your forest.

Also if you have a shovel you will be more likely to find more bell(money) on the island.
