Looking at the chart, you can see that Playstation 2 is simply dominating the Japanese market (56%). Game Boy Advance is still standing strong, holding 27.1% of the market. Gamecube isn't doing so good, selling only a few thousand units(6.5%). Playstation is outselling X Box, which is pretty sad. It is clear that Nintendo will have to take a different approach at the Japanese to start selling.

Wait I say, until July when Mario comes out. Plus, the GameCube won't win the console wars this generation, PS2 already has a huge lead, the best Nintendo can hope for is that it closes the gap between it and Sony.

It's huge in Europe, titles are coming from everywhere now and the most wanted Jap titles aren't out yet, except for SSBM. All that matters is that it keeps selling, which it is.

How do you think it will sell over there when FF tactics comes out with a GBA - GCN linkup?

Not to mention being able to use the GCN as a hub to go online with the GBA in the future!

Of course not. I do have the GC, Xbox and Ps2 cause i enjoy playing, but i'm allways with Nintendo.

Actually the GBA has already probably sold more in its short lifespan thus far than the PS2 did @ this time in its life. And Nin is already off to a much better start than it had w/ the N64. I wouldn't be surprised to see it get 40% of the home console market by the end of this gen..

Cube owned in Europe, best launch ever 75,000 compared to PS2's 70,000.
