I read a while back that the GBA can be linked to the GC to play the GBA games on a regular tv, but everywhere I look I can't find anything on this ever since the GC has come out... anyone know if this can be done and if so, where would I buy this hookup?
It would be cool to play the original pac man on the big screen again for old times

EB told me in January they'll be selling it, but I don't know.

No, No, No...the GBA/GC connector cable will most likely be released this moth or next in America, along with the first games that can do it, Sonic Advance and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. You don't play the GBA games on the TV, you do other things with it.
For example, if you were playing a football game, you would use your Game Boy Advance to pick the plays so your opponents wouldn't see.
In the case of the Sonic linkup, you will transfer your Chaos (little giga-pet like thingies) from your Gamecube game to your Game Boy Advance game, where you can tend to them and play some fun minigames like Chao racing, where you race with other people's Chaos.
So as you can see, it's nothing like the Super Game Boy, although it may seem that way at first. Looks can be deceiving...I think it will work quite well if played out right, and am looking forward to linking up.
Just thought my first post since I came back should be a good one...

Super GameBoy was awesome... no blurriness, no hair-thin lines, up on your big "BACKLIT" TV with those cool boarder things you can put, and sound through your stereo... I wish they'd do something like that with GBA so bad :(
There is a 3rd party TV connector thingy coming out sometime... It was big news a while back, but i dont know anything about it sorry :(

Yep, it's called the GBATV and it's out now, but it will void your warranty. You've been warned...

Yeah, thats Nintendo's GBA-Link that your thinking of. This is 3rd party TV adatper. GBA-Link is kinda like Transfer Pak, and so as far as we know we'll only be able to use it for a "Special Controller" and not play GBA on your TV.

I heard that when certain GC game is connected to a GBA, the GBA screen will dislpay the map and it will highlight secrets on certain games making it easier to spot them.
