Is Square coming to the Gamecube (or multi-platforming)?

there is always a chance but square is buddy buddy with sony. and well the relations between nintendo and square are not the 'greatest' if you know what i mean.we will know it at TGS i think

I heard somewhere that Square officially declared it was going multi-platform. I think this is a rumor, though, and they didn't say they were coming back to Nintendo.

Nintendo does not want Square back, they have Enix (hopefully) and they think thats all they need. Enix will grab the jap market but what about the US market? Personally I find it bad marketing strategy by Nintendo to not at least TRY to work something out..

I doubt that Nintendo will be getting Enix. Just think about it. Enix sold over 4 million copies of DQ on the psx. Most of those people that bought a psx will probably have a ps2, so why would they bother to turn their backs on their audience? It just doesn't make sense. Btw, has anyone heard about the partnership between Square, Enix, and Namco? If you haven't, they have been working together on arcade games and Square's PlayOnline network. Sony has been providing some funding for this. So the odds of Sony providing funding for something that could benefit Nintendo is highly unlikely. So don't expect DQ to be coming to the Gcube. :cool:

Kenny_73, that name does sound familiar. Were you by any chance one of my little play pals at PS2 Central last year? Ah I think you were judging by the way you seemed to know me in my MGS2 topic.

Let's see who else I remember. I remember MM with the Monkey under his name, Nathan the one I used to always fight with, hmm oh yeah NPLAYER, DDaryl, Sonyfan(oh I hated that guy), Rammstein, and that's about it off the top of my head. I know I'd recognise a few more if I saw them.

Actually I didn't post in psx2central that much. You may have seen me in there though. But, you probably know me from Msxbox. You were like one of the first people to register there, right? Since when did you start disliking the x-box? :cool:

dude.. dragon warrior is a great game hehe... then add phantasy star..
